You can help us by becoming a Friend or Patron. You’d also be entitled to specific benefits throughout the year including free events and even a free ticket to introduce someone new to the BPO. Membership prices start from as little as £25 (and less for students).

The BPO does not receive public funding. We rely on the direct support of ticket sales but also the contributions from our Friends and Patrons to keep going. Ticket sales cover many of our costs, however they can’t cover all the costs of putting a large-scale professional concert on. Membership through our Friends and Patrons schemes directly supports the orchestra and is great value too.

We are also a registered charity and with you on our side we’ll be better able to fundraise from other sources, like sponsorship and trusts.

For as little as £30 our Friends receive up £75 worth of benefits including

• Exclusive Friends’ priority booking period

• A free ticket in each season under our ‘Friend of a Friend’ scheme

• Regular free newsletters and at least three exclusive events per year.

The next level up: Patrons of the Brighton Philharmonic share all Friends’ benefits, plus

• An annual End of the Season’s reception

• Two tickets in each season under our ‘Friend of a Friend’ scheme

• Credit in our concert programmes
